Koshu is the traditional Japanese grape variety which has been grown for over 1000 years in Yamanashi Prefecture. This orange wine is made from “Koshu” grapes and employs the Carbonic Maceration Method with 2 weeks contact with the skins, and aging in oak barrels. This process imparts vivid orange colour and the flavours of apricot, banana and ripe melon with a textured complex palate. It pairs well with seafood such as salmon roe and sea urchins, pork, and Japanese traditional dishes.
