The sake name means velvet taste. A fruit-forward bouquet of pear followed by black pepper and mint. Smooth, off-dry, low acidity with medium body, lots of umami and a medium finish with a hint of tomato leaf. The structure is firm with some corners. A subtle sake packed with flavor as a result of a long careful ferment at low temperatures.

Chill and put in a wine glass to fully appreciate the aroma. Pair with meat dishes like roast beef.

Top-class sake with the rice center-stage

Named after the beauty of the nearby Mt. Kaikoma. Hints of porridge with nectarine jam. Off-dry with a refreshing acidity and texture like tweed. Very tidy but flavorful umami fills the mouth releasing oats and nuts before a dry finish. Delicious at any temperature but warm up to unleash even more flavor.

Try yakitori, sauteed dishes, roast chicken or sardines.

“Bon GOLD” is a sake that is made from Junmai Daiginjo unpasteurized sake that has been adjusted and aged at minus 10 degrees Celsius, and then bottled and pasteurized at the shipping stage to seal in the mellow taste of the season. (It is so-called raw sake.)

Since it is pure sake that has not been filtered as it is squeezed, it contains a small amount of white sediment, which is the original ingredient of sake.

In addition, it features a pale golden color due to adjusted aging, and in order to express this color, we used a UV-cut transparent bottle, and the label was also made to match the color of the sake.

Chill well and pour into a large wine glass. You can enjoy a clear and wonderful scent, and a soft and refreshing taste with a strong presence.

Absolute fresh Nama Zake!

Perfect Yamada Nishiki Nama sake you can enjoy for the price! Perfect balance between sweet and dry (karakuchi). It goes well with all type of dishes of course best with fresh seafood! Anyway do they every produce large bottle(1.8l) for this sake? I think i can drink that in one go! Cheers!

Junmai Daiginjo from Omachi, a sake rice specialty of Okayama. It has a gentle aroma and a rich taste.

The sake rice produced in Okayama Prefecture is called "Omachi", which is known as the phantom sake rice, and is polished to 50%, and brewed with great care by the Bitchu brewer. Furthermore, this Junmai Daiginjo sake is aged at low temperature for a long period of time in the brewery, bringing out the full flavor and soft aroma unique to Omachi. Recipients include the 2012 Hiroshima Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Appraisal Award for Excellence in the ``Sake with Taste as Its Main Characteristic'' category, and the Omachi Summit Award for Excellence in the Ginjo Sake Category.
